Volcanic soil with high content of sand and gravel. Continental climate with around 250 sun days/year. Vineyard elevation – 1300 m above the sea level.

Technical Information

Varietal: Areni (50%) Syrah (30%) Merlot (20%) Alcohol: 14.5%

Vinification

Harvesting occurs when the grapes reach full ripeness. Syrah and Merlot are harvested in September, while Areni is picked in the latter half of October. The grapes remain intact during the process. Fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks, followed by an extended maceration period. This wine is not aged in oak barrels. It features an elegant bouquet of ripe dark berries, complemented by notes of black pepper and dark chocolate. On the palate, it presents ripe, fine tannins, refreshing acidity, and a long, lingering finish

An elegant bouquet of characteristic ripe black berries combined with aromas of black pepper and dark chocolate. In the mouth, the wine expresses itself with ripe fine tannins, refreshing acidity and a long aftertaste

Serving

Pairs well with grilled salmon, vegetable pastas, and soft cheeses

Aging

This wine can be immediately consumed but will reveal its true potential in 1-2 years. It can be kept for 5 years in a good cellar
